Players Green Superkings are one of the most requested Super King Size cigarettes among adult smokers in the United Kingdom who prefer a longer format combined with a smoother filter experience. Officially known as JPS Players Green Filter Superkings, this product was developed by Imperial Brands as a non-menthol alternative following the 2020 UK menthol ban. Many adult smokers who previously enjoyed menthol or crushball cigarettes turned to the green-filter range because it offers a different draw and reduced lingering smoke smell without any characterising flavour.
If you are looking to -Players Green Superkings online with genuine UK duty-paid stock, discreet packaging and reliable delivery, this page is the right place. Below you will find a complete overview of the product, its background, technical features, and why so many customers choose this particular 20-pack.
The Players brand has deep roots in British tobacco history. John Player & Sons began operations in Nottingham in the 1870s. Over the decades the company became one of the most recognised names in the UK market. In the early 20th century it merged into larger groups and eventually became part of what is today Imperial Brands. The modern JPS (John Player Special) and Players ranges continue to occupy a strong mid-price position on the British market.
Players Green Superkings sit within the wider green-filter family that was introduced and refined after the menthol ban. The aim was to give adult smokers a product that felt different from standard full-flavour or lights cigarettes while remaining fully compliant with UK Tobacco Products Directive rules. The distinctive green filter tip is the most visible sign of this design approach..
The green filter used on Players Green Superkings is not a menthol filter. It contains no characterising flavour. Instead, the filter construction and the paper technology are engineered to change the way air and smoke travel. Competitors such as Smoke-King and Turmeaus frequently highlight two key technical points that customers notice:
These two elements together create the signature experience that defines the green-filter range. The cigarettes remain a standard Virginia-based blend suitable for everyday adult smoking, but the filter and paper combination is what sets them apart.
These figures place Players Green Superkings in the lighter-to-mid range of the Super Kings category. Many adult smokers who previously used menthol products find the draw smoother than traditional full-flavour Super Kings while still delivering a longer smoking time than King Size formats.
From competitor customer feedback and market patterns, the main groups of adult buyers are:
Because the product contains no characterising flavour, some adult smokers choose to add a Rizla Menthol Chill or Fresh Mint flavour card if they want a temporary menthol or mint note. This is a common practice mentioned across competitor sites and is entirely at the discretion of the individual adult consumer.
When you buy Players Green Superkings from us you receive genuine UK duty-paid stock. Every order is age-verified (18+) in line with UK law. We use discreet outer packaging that does not carry our company name or any indication of the contents, a feature repeatedly highlighted by competitors such as Smoke-King and Tobacco Direct as important to their customers.
Delivery options are designed for convenience. Many customers choose next-day or tracked services. For those who order regularly, our Unlimited Delivery Pass removes delivery costs on qualifying orders for a full year.
You can purchase a single Players Green Superkings 20 pack or build a larger order by adding multiple packs. A full sleeve of 200 cigarettes (10 × 20 packs) is a popular choice among regular adult buyers looking for better value and fewer deliveries.
The green-filter category also includes products such as Richmond Green Superkings, Carlton Green Filter Superkings and Berkeley Green. While all share the same broad concept (non-menthol green filter + Super King Size), Players Green Superkings (also searched as JPS Players Green Superkings) tend to be preferred by adult smokers who already know the Players / JPS brand and want continuity of taste and quality within a familiar mid-price range.
The firm filter and paper technology are consistent across the green-filter family, but blend differences mean each brand has its own character. Customers who have tried several options often return to Players Green Superkings for the balance of draw, length and reduced smell.
Like all cigarettes, Players Green Superkings should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Once a pack is opened, it is best consumed within a reasonable period to maintain the intended draw and flavour profile. The firm filter helps keep consistency even if the pack has been open for a short time.
